- Surrender to God happens due to the following
- helpless conditions of life situations where one needs support
- disinterest in continuing life due to failure and tragedies, leaving everything to God to take over
- realizing that God alone can guide one to obtain freedom from bondage and seek His council
- Arjuna started with a helpless condition wherein, he complained about his inability to fight against his own kith and kin
- He then started to show disinterest in life by stating that he would beg and live and not seek the kingdom and the pleasures
- Now, he is seeking the answer to the question, 'What is Dharma?' What is the way to freedom (श्रेयस्)?
