Gita reflection Ch 2 verses 13 & 14

 14th February 2024

  • The wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita does not advocate escape from the world. Conversely, it provides the correct understanding with which one is ready to meet the world with a steady and dispassionate mind
  • Knowing that nothing is permanent or consistent by nature, no object or person can cause fear or sorrow to the wise man.
  • A mud pot discovering itself as mud does not change its 'pothood'. Eventually, when the pot gets destroyed, mud remains unchanged.
  • Immortality is not something away from us. It is what we are. Even as the mortal aspect of us gets destroyed, the immortal aspect remains unchanged.
  • When this is discovered while living itself, we can face every change with a smile!
